The return to school this year looks different than ever before.
Our Homeschool program will make your life easier and will follow strict safety protocols, providing an enriching in home learning experience.
Many people are asking themselves, what is my child going to do? Whether your child’s school is opening or remaining closed, we know that it is most important for you to feel that your child and family are safe, and to keep others safe and healthy as well, as everyone continues to navigate the global pandemic.
In these unprecedented times, Jam with Jamie continues to be dedicated to building community and connection and spreading joy through music, with both virtual and in person options.
Now, with an incredible team of artists, many with backgrounds and extensive experience in teaching and preschools, we have developed a play-based, arts integrated curriculum for homeschool learning to begin this September!
Connecting and playing together in a safe environment with a skilled and caring teaching artist is the foundation of our home school program. Through play, we explore and learn about ourselves, each other, and the world around us, as well as the infinite possibilities of our imaginations and the open-ended materials we will use each day.
We are here for you and ready to help you in this challenging time. Our processes will be ever evolving, based on the needs of each child in every home school setting we are welcomed into.
What does Jam with Jamie Homeschool look like on a typical day?
Safety Protocol: all teaching artists will do daily temperature and symptoms checks, wear a face shield during homeschool, and take periodic Covid tests.
All activities can be done indoors or outdoors, and the maximum amount of time able to be spent outdoors is encouraged, weather permitting. We will work with each family and group to determine which objects or furniture in the home can also be used to support the learning environment.
