A Day in the Life of Jamie: Conquering Coconut Grove, Miami
Hey Friends!
Today I’m taking you on a ride through one of my favorite places, the lovely Coconut Grove, Miami. Buckle up, folks, ’cause we’re in for a day filled with laughter, delicious food, and a healthy dose of sarcasm!
Let’s kickstart this extravaganza at Glass and Vine, the holy grail of breakfast spots. The food is great, and most importantly there is a playground! The kids can be entertained while you dine- what else can you ask for?.
While the kids are sliding and swinging, I’m enjoying a Bloody Mary and some delicious food, we’re all happy campers here! I vote for all restaurants to have a playground, who agrees?
After working up an appetite, it’s time to admire the waters surrounding the grove, before our next stop at AC’s Icees, stroll along the boardwalk and check out the beautiful surroundings, the awesome boats, and Miami Sunshine.
Next up, a pit stop at AC’s Icees for some frozen lemonade. Is there anything more refreshing on a hot Miami day? Nope, didn’t think so. Slurp that icy goodness, maybe add in a hotdog and embrace the brain freeze in the sunshine. It’s the perfect way to cool down and keep the summer vibes flowing.
There’s a great park next to AC’s for the kids to enjoy after having their lemonades.
Now, let’s talk lunch, yes I realize this blog is going meal to meal because that’s how I live my life. By lunch, I mean a seafood extravaganza at Monty’s. This place knows how to rock the Miami style, and boy, do they bring the flavor. Live music, great seafood, and drinks that’ll make you forget about your worries. The combination of lively tunes, ocean views, and mouthwatering dishes will have you dancing with your fork in hand.
For an afternoon activity, there is kayaking and water sports available right next to Monty’s.
As the sun sets, it’s time for dinner at Mister 01, the undisputed ruler of pizza perfection. Brace yourself, because these folks know how to make dough sing! From the crispy crusts to the gooey cheese, each bite is a taste bud symphony. You’ll find yourself falling head over heels for these heavenly slices.
What better way to wrap up this epic day than with dessert at Chill’n? Their sweet treats are the stuff dreams are made of. From towering sundaes to heavenly milkshakes, we apologize that your kiddos might have a sugar high!
