Father’s Day is just around the corner, and if you’re anything like me, you might be feeling stumped on what to get your hubby. Let’s face it, picking out the perfect gift for the father of your children is no easy feat. But don’t worry, I’ve got your back! As a mom of three – Zach, Evan, and Zoey – I’ve learned a thing or two about the art of gift-giving for dads.
First things first, let’s talk about the struggle of finding the right gift. Dads are notorious for saying they don’t want anything, but deep down we know they do. It’s not like we can just throw them a kid’s party like we do for our little ones. Can you imagine throwing a Pokemon-themed Father’s Day party? Shaun may actually like that, but I digress. We have to think outside of the box.
One thing my family loves to do for Father’s Day is plan a family outing. Whether it’s going to a baseball game, hitting up a mini-golf course, or going to the arcade, it’s a great way to spend quality time together and create memories. Dads love a little friendly competition.
If you’re looking for something a little more low-key, consider putting together a gift basket of your hubby’s favorite things. I have put together some ideas in my Amazon Storefront to get you started. It could be his favorite snacks, a new book, a gift card to his favorite restaurant, and maybe even some of his favorite craft beer. This is a thoughtful gesture that shows you pay attention to his likes and dislikes.
At the end of the day, it’s the thought that counts! Your hubby will appreciate anything you do for him on Father’s Day. Whether it’s a handmade card from the kids or a fancy new grill, he’ll feel loved and appreciated.
Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there!
